Rusty water indicates rust plugging the inside of the water supply pipes. Hesitation, banging, but then water flow indicates pieces of rust inside the small diameter pipe are preventing flow, breaking (which allows a few feet of flow until another stoppage occurs), and then passage past the stoppage. : When I turn on the hot water valve water hestitates to come out and pipes bang and then when the water comes out it's rusty water. Is the washer broken or is it air in the pipes or could it be the diverter? : Thanks for your Help, : Maria
