You do not have an air lock. If air is in the pipes, it will be pushed out as soon as you open a faucet. You more than likely have a broken valve or one that is not turned on. Get a different plumber than the one that told you that it is an air lock, and he/she will correct the problem. : I have no water supply at all after maintenance work outside my house, I have been told that it is an air lock, could you tell me how to rectify this myself please?
