: About 6 months ago I replaced an old toilet with a new American Standard Cadet 1.6 gpf model. It seemed to work fine until recently. Sometimes I have to flush as many as 3-4 times. : : It seems to me as though some of the holes that direct water around the sides of the bowl are clogged. It makes a lot of bubbling noise and more bubbling, sloshing and more bubbling, then may or may not go down. I was able to change the noise these holes make by sticking a match end into one or two of the holes. : My question is...how does one clean-out these holes as well as the path around inside the bowl??? : Also, can I purchase a tank(ONLY) with flushmate and use it with the 6 month old bowl I have now??? I'm thinking that the flushmate would keep the holes from clogging up. : I really like your very informative web site. Frank, |
