| In response to Re: Shower Leak | |
![]() : I just replaced my 3-valve bath/shower assembly (Central brand) - The old stems were leaking from the drain & I was hoping to update the external hardware as well... : I found a kit @ Home Depot which contained everything I needed...all installed well & there are no leaks from the pipes (I do have an access panel which to further check for leaks). : There is one problem, however. When I am taking a shower, I noticed that water is getting between the tile wall & behind the escheutons (?sp). : Is it recommended to seal these fixutures w/ silicone caulk or use plumber's putty? (I would think is is possible, but I'm leaving the thinking to the experts)... Either PolySeamseal or Silicone will work for that. |
