I'm remodeling a 5x10 2nd floor bathroom. I have full access to run tubing between the floor joists ( I removed the kitchen ceiling below the bath). I have an oil hot water boiler with 3 zones. I'd like to tap into the boiler line and add another zone for the bath with a manifold, circulator pump and mixing valve. I've done a lot of remodeling over the years but never drained down (and re-filled) a boiler. Can you give me an idea on how to do this (drain and refill)and if any special equipment will be needed to purge the air form the lines. If you have any other tips regarding radiant heat you'd like to share that would be appreciated also.
