|In response to Re: Slab plumbing|
Since you do not specify vents, and using a 4 x 2 reducer may be the hard way to make the connection, I suspect this may be your first plumbing job. I would contact a plumber to put it in. It should be fairly inexpensive, especially if you do the digging, and it will be done correctly.
: I want to plumb my future shop for a commode, sink and possibly a shower that will be connected to a septic system. A concrete slab will be poured on top. 1. Do I need a p-trap for the 4" line? 2. Is 2" standard and large enough on the sink and shower drains. I would use a 2" shower p-trap in the slab with a riser through the concrete, then use a 4"x2" reducer to get to the 4". 3. What do you use to separate the riser from the concrete? My well driller said not to isolate the well house slab from the 6" well casing, ants will come in?
