: I'm looking for an inexpensive hand shower spray just for the sole purpose of washing down my shower and tub. I don't like plastic cheap looking stuff so it has to look good - either chrome or polished nickel. Any thoughts?

Get yourself a 10-foot "Pet Spray" from a pet suppy house, like UPCO (1-800-254-UPCO; part no. 1726B, $24.00). The sprayer and hose are white plastic. However, they connect to your lav faucet by a special connector that replaces the normal aerator (takes about 1 minute to unscrew the old aerator, screw on the new). The new aerator/connector is chrome-plated and completely inconspicuous. When you need the hose, you twist it on (takes about 1 second). When you don't, you twist it off (another 1 second) and put it in the vanity out of sight. The faucet and aerator work and look normal with the hose off.
