Unless you are going to run the drain further than is allowed, the opening will only be an inch to an inch and a quarter higher than the existing connection so you should not have to move it.
: I'm installing a bathroom in my basement. Currently, there are piping rough-in's embedded in the concrete. The drain line for the sink is already installed on the vent line. How do I slope the drain line from the sink to this connection to get th 1/4" to 1-ft requirement without moving this connection?
