| In response to Re: Whirlpool Bath Leak Fix | |

: Ok, I have another problem. Trying to sell my house. Found out I have a slow leak in my Whirlpool tub that became evident when water started dripping thru a light fixture on the first floor (tub is on second floor). Had a plumber out and he can fix it if I can "pull the tub". It appears one of the jets (in the back of the tub, not reachable thru the access panels, has to be fixed). I can't find a plumber or anyone else to do this job. Anyone in the Houston area had this done before? Any recommendations? : Thanks, : Joe Never mind. Finally found a good plumber. Can go in one of three other ways without pulling tub. From the downstairs ceiling (where it leaked), from the outside of the house (less likely) or from a small ledge next to backside of tub (will require removing and replacing tile). Was also told this may be covered by homeowners. Will let y'all know how that goes. Joe |
