: Pop-off valve is leaking and needs to be replaced. It's not really an "overflow", it's a safety valve that releases tank pressure if the heating element sticks on and overheats the water. It will "pop-off" at 150 psi. I will make a mess, but nothing like what would happen if the tank blew up! |
