The house I recently purchased has a Qwik Jon in the downstairs bathroom. When inspecting before purchase, a strong sewage odor was noted and the repair done was to reset the seal. Doesn't have the strong odor now, but still has a persistent smell. Does the Qwik Jon need to be cleaned or pumped out for maintenance? Is it normal to have an odor with these units? Thanks for any information. |
