Another DVW Question

I am removing a shower stall with a 2" DWV on it and wanting to put a new one in about 5 feet away? My questions are: Q1: Can I connect to the old DWV line from the new location? Q2: Does the shower have to be vented to the same DWV line. I have a sink located on the same wall I would like to put the shower, but it is only 1 1/2" dia DWV. As an added bonus, all of this is for a second story master remodel, so routing is kind of difficult with 1st floor finished ceilings. Thanks. Jim
