you will need one rated for wet installations. If outside the tub/shower enclosure, not a problem. Your local electrical supply house (not Home Depot or Lowe's--the one where the electricians go) should know the code in your area and can recommend models. Also, there is a formula for how much CFM you should get for the size of your room. You might find the calculator on the Broan or Panasonic websites--I can't remember where I saw it.
