It is unless they know it by a different name or description. If they make a practice of installing showers without the proper drain and membrane, then I would not even consider them for the job. : I am trying to decide on a contractor to do a bathroom renovation. A ceramic shower will be built. I have read that a two stage/weeping drain is important but the two people who have quoted me are not aware of this type of drain. Not a good sign?
