|In response to Re: New shower flange not sticking to shower tile|
The shower flange does not have to "stick" to the shower and it does not keep the shower arm from being loose> If the arm is loose it is because it is not fastened inside the wall. And if it is loose, it will cause the flange to come away from the wall.
: Good morning. I have a simple question regarding the shower flange. We currently had new shower fixtures installed by a contracter last week and we now notice the shower flange is not sticking to the shower tile cause the shower arm to be loose. What is the correct type of caulk to use so that the shower flange will stick correctly?
: Part of our problem is the fact we know very little about plumbing thus question the contractor's plumbing choice.
