I want to relocate a portion of my baseboard hot-water heating pipes under the floor to make room for a bathroom cabinet. Problem is the joists run perpendicular to the 3/4" copper pipe. Can I notch out the top of each joist (approx. total span is 4 joist)? Is there a better way?
