It is possible, but not likely, unless the weight of the filter is causing extreme wear on the spout seal washer. : Two weeks ago we replaced the washer on our kitchen faucet due to severe leakage. The leakage started again. This time a plumber came, replaced the washer again, and said that it was caused by our Pur faucet mounted water filter. Could this true?
