You can reduce it to whatever your code says is the minimum for a toilet vent. Most require 2", but there are a few that allow 1 1/2". : I'm installing a Zoeller qwik jon in the basement. Can I hook up and share the 3" vent pipe from the qwik jon to an existing 1 1/2" vent pipe that is being used by the upstairs bathroom. Can you reduce it down from a 3" to a 1 1/2". : Thanks.
