|In response to Re: Fix Holes in Terrazzo|
Because terrazo is a product consisting of chips and a binder, it does not fill small holes easily, nor does it adhere when a shallow patch is required. A terrazo company may be able to drill out the existing patches and make holes large enough so that the terrazo will adhere, assuming they can match the color. Otherwise you will have larger areas of unmatched color, possibly more apparent than what you now have.
: We had a company remove our carpets and polish the original terrazzo in our room, but we are so dissapointed in the holes all along the walls that resulted when the carpet was removed. The terrazzo is a light color and the company filled these holes with very obvious plaster...What can we do? Should we call another company to do repairs? Could another company fill in the holes with new terrazzo?
