My floor will consist of 3/4" plywood + 1/2" wonderboard (cementboard)+ tile (assuming approx. 1/4"). When do I attach the toilet flange ... MUST I calculate the total height of floor prior to applying floor and put flange in 1st? Can I put/solder the flange AFTER the floor goes in? Is it ideal to have only the lip of the flange (approx. 1/8") above the level of the floor? ...and if so, is it alright to have the flange "resting" on the tile? BTW ... My closet/waste line is 3" copper ... |
