: We are remodeling a 2nd floor bathroom and never want to do this again. What is the current trend for shower bases- lead pan or pvc? Is one believed to last longer than the other? Any current plumbing literature on this? A pvc liner would be easier,cheaper,and healthier to install.Both lead and pvc would last for a long time but most plumbers use pvc for cost and quickness |
