In response to Re: Ever hear of a Pegasus brand faucet?
: We also liked the look and design of the Pegasus and bought a set at Home Depot for shower/bath controls on our new Ultra whirlpool. We also bought matching faucet for our pedestal sink as well as matching towel and toilet paper rods - all satin nickel.

: We have only been living with these for a few days now, but so far so good. My only beef is that the shower/bath diverter is a bit awkwardly placed, right under the water controls and it is slightly "sticky" but not too bad.

: Also, the finishing plate is rather large - maybe 6" in diameter. This in and of itself is not a problem, but our contractor did not measure this in advance and the finish plate ended up covering up part of our rope border tile. IMHO, this looks terrible. W
: When we asked the contractor to at least smooth out the tile so the mounting would be flush, he made it look even worse with a jagged sloppy tile cut.

: At this point, fixing it so the finish plate does not step on the border tile would require breaking the tiles and wall to extend the pipes down a couple of inches and we're not sure we want to do that.

: If anyone has any other suggestions, I'm all ears.

Were you able to buy the matching Pegasus tub parts (the tub drain and overflow thing)? Hope you know what I'm talking about. I haven't been able to find them.
