: I installed concrete backer board around my shower tub combination. I didn't leave a gap between the top edge of the tub and the bottom of the board. Should I pull the concrete board out, trim it and reinstall it? If so, what size should the gap be?

The gap should be about 1/4" plus or minus.
Concrete board will "wick" water up.
