Teflon tape works great for gas. They have recently come out with a heavier weight tape just for gas, it's yellow. I was told it was because it was easier to keep the edges from getting over the top of the threads, getting shredded, then ending up in the appliance. I don't know the truth of that, but don't worry about it, white work just fine. |
