More than likely you would create more noise, since the valves would all operate at the same time, not sequentially. : Can you have more than one check valve in a line? I have a 1-1/2" sump pump discharge line (10' rise then 15' run) that gives me a lot of hammer noise and I think installing more than one check valve would reduce some of the hammer and the noise.
