It depends on what you mean by a quality toilet.
Some of the major brands are a source of most of the complaints.
I feel, that if someone is having problems with a $100 toilet, they should consider something in another price range. Something with G-max by Toto or one of the many pressure assist toilets would work better. Terry

After many examinations, both my plumber and I believe there is nothing wrong with the toilet or the sewer lines. We replaced the toilet with a quality brand; but the problem remains. The blockage is always freed with the aid of a plunger, and sometimes with very little effort.
