Hi, I'm renovating an old home and want to do it in stages. one floor at a time. I need to connect new copper tube to 100 year old lead. The lead pipe looks like a tree branch. In other words doesn't look threadable - can I connect it as if I'm putting two lead pipes together ? What type of solder or flux do i need ? Thanks for your help
