Steel tubs are not the best choice in the first place, but unless it is a very inexpensive one it will have a steel structure underneath it to support the tub. If it does not have that structure then you should put something there for support otherwise the tub will flex when filled with water and people. : What's required to hold a recessed steel tub installation in place? Are the ledger boards and roofing nails enough, or do I also trowel some adhesive on the floor? : Thanks
