|In response to Re: New Gas Line Installation Question.|
Gas lines under floors are subject to stringent installation requirements and only your building department can tell you which of several procedures they will allow. None of them use the exhaust vent.
: I am about to begin remodeling my kitchen. I want to change my island-stove top from Elect to Gas. My question is it possible to run the gas line down to my kitchen from the furnace then across to the stovetop via the vent duct for the stovetop exhaust. I rather not break the concrete due to the house has pillars installed on that side for leveling. Last question who would I get to install the gas line a plumber or the Gas Company.
