if there is room for the drain pipe then there is also room for the loop vent if it is installed properly. : is there a way to (legally) vent an island sink with out having the loop. the island we are using is small and the loop will not fit inside... we have a wall approx 3 feet away that we can run to the ceiling in. we have no problem cutting the slab if necessary.
