If it is an actual water leak, it may have found a way to drain without showing in the room, then there will eventually be damage if it is not repaired regardless of whether it shows or not. : I have a persistent dripping sound in the wall behind my toilet (for several months now). There is no water leakage signs in flooring, walls, etc. Is this a sign of something to be worried about? The flapper has been replaced recently to try to stop this sound - no help.
