In response to Re: Dishwasher trouble
: Our dishwasher isn't washing properly. It leaves rather large, grainy residue on the inside of glasses. I have turned up the temperature on the water heater and I'm also using a rinse agent. I've looked under the sink and the copper pipe going to (or from?) the dishwasher has a small kink in it. Could that be the problem? Or...is there some other problem? The dishwasher is new, installed just prior to our purchasing this older (circa 1960) home last October.

: Thanks for any help

TESS,
BEFORE YOU CLOSE THE DOOR, PUSH ALL THE RACKS
INTO THE WASHER AND MAKE SURE THE UPPER WATER
SPRAYER (UNDER THE TOP RACK) IS
FREE TO ROTATE COMPLETELY. We had a problem like
this and found out the upper sprayer was jamed and
had to have the service guy come and fix it.
Good Luck.
PHIL
