Raise the cleates on the tub and put it over the tile floor. Fiberglass is so flimsey, you should probably raise the whole tub area for support. You are replacing the drain and overflow? : Today I tore out the bath tub and surrounding walls. : I went to install the new fiberglass tub and realized that it won't fit flush at the tile floor. : It has quite a sand base at least two inches.Do I cut the tile floor or do I cut the bathtub? Decisions!( I need at least 3 inches of floor
