It is seldom done because the moisture can get into the plywood if the joint is not perfectly caulked. But when I have seen it done, the opening was routed out and a strip of the laminate was glued onto the vertical raw edge beween the top surface and the sink surface. : How do you install an undercounter kitchen sink with laminate counter tops. : Thanks : Dan
