If you are talking about turning it 90 degrees from its normal orientation, then not only will the new threshold have to be modified, but the normal one will be at a side wall and there will be no way to create a water dam. You will be back to where you are now or in worse shape. : i have an odd shaped shower. it is 36wide by 48-50 deep. i want to know if i could use a 48X36 pan in the space and cut off the lip and repair it in some way to make it usable. i don't want to go back to creating a floor for the shower and run into the same leakage that i experienced in the past.
