You have the right hoses, don't worry about it.
Washing machines don't have the extreme pressure problems someone has cautioned you about. The main issue with washing machines is that they are a portable appliance and are not connected with rigid piping, but use rubber hoses; and that they use electrically operated solenoid valves which close rapidly and suddenly, but do not create extremes of pressure.
: Any suggestions on the best type of hoses to buy when replacing? I had heard that the extreme water pressure can cause the hoses to burst. I currently have the standard rubber hoses, but wonder if the metal style would be safer.
