We have an older home and need to replace all three toilets. I have measured the rough-ins, and found that two of them are 11 inches or less. So I guess I have to find two good 10 inch rough-in toilets. I am interested in the Toto Carlyle with the rough-in adapter, but I read on the website that it has a larger than 5-1/2" hole--consult your contractor. Will this be a problem? Since we don't know how the toilets were put in, I can't get any information prior to purchase. Also, I don't want to buy a super-expensive toilet for one of the 10 inchers. Are there any less expensive ones to recommend? How good are the Toto Carusoe 10" toilets? They don't seem to have any special flushing capabilities.
Thanks so much for your advice.
