Hi Laura, A lot of people don't like grout, but it goes along with the tile. And the reason ceramic tile has endured through the ages is because it's the best. A solid surface installation simply hasn't been perfected that will do the job as well. John : We are planning to add a master bedroom/bath suite this coming year, and are wondering whether to go with ceramic tile or solid surfacing material for the custom shower stall. Any suggestions? I really don't like grout, but am worried that the cost of solid surfacing may force us to take that route.
