If you do not use it, then you will have to make something similar to seal the edge and give a water dam to protect against water leaking between the tile and the tub. : we have concerns about the use of the tiling in bead that kohler sells for this tub. we are installing the tub in a three wall alcove with a shower going into the tub. does this tilig in bead work? how hard is it to install? is it something we should be weary of?
