the pipes in the slab keep leaking! I want to go overhead in attic. I have built a raceway from boiler room to other end of house, insulated the box and insulating the pipes (3/4 copper) with knauf 1000 pipe insulation ( 1 inch thick), will this be enough to keep pipes from freezing? the temp. in the area some times drops to singe digits. L.I. NEW YORK area. |
