You will be better off cracking the pipe out of the hub. To melt it out you need an oxy/acetylene cutting torch that you can both melt the lead and blow it out of the joint. It is both messy and possibly dangerous depending on the location, (and there are a lot of lead fumes involved). : Hi all.
