the minimum would be a coated steel pipe, not black pipe. The flexible pipes are not available for DIY installations. : Need to run pipe, underground, about 40 feet. The line will be from a 100# propane tank to a propane blue flame heater for my work shop. : Is black pipe the right thing to use and what size would you recommend for a max. 50,000 btu heater? : Was hoping there's some kind of flex-pipe now available for gas? : Will greatly appreciate your advise. : Kind Regards, : Lou
