If you are going to incorporate this into new construction, you would be well advised to examine the new smaller diameter poly tubing that installs above the floor, but under the flooring. Installing copper tube loops under the poured earth floor would necessitate a very tight waterproof insulation material (like rubber used for chillers) and the possibility of breaks from earth movement or building settling then necessitates heavy construction to dig it up through the finished floor.

: We are building our own home and will be using a wood fied stove with a hot water jacket. We would like to pipe this water under a poured earth floor . What kind of pipes do we need for this job? Any advice at all on how to go about it would be great?
