|In response to Re: weak flush, slow tub drain, is it time to pump septic again?|
Probably needs to be pumped. We pump our's every two years. There is a plug on the septic tank that some call a grease trap that may be clogged. The tank's cover is usually 12 feet from the house; this plug is about nine to 10 feet from the house. Cleaning it out may give you a few days of better flow. But the tank should be pumped out soon.
: We have a septic tank that has been pumped once in the 12 years since we built our home. We have GREAT water pressure, and the toilet fills with water fast but it swirrls and swirrls and does not take down even paper hardly and backs up often. Also the bath tub is draining slowly. Is it the septic that is full?
