It removes counter clockwise if you were looking up at the opening. But since you are looking down at the top of the spout the direction is clockwise. : The little strainer in the sink spigot in the bathroom of our recently-purchased home is missing. : Does the end of the spigot containing the screen screw off all models of sink fixtures counter clockwise [using pliers because of corrosion I am sure]? I don't want to force something that is not meant to come off. Thank you.
