|In response to Re: Wall hung toilet|
The toilet does not "hang on the wall". It fastens to a fairly expensive and somewhat bulky fitting called a carrier. There is no limit as to where you mount them and no special code regulations, as long as normal plumbing requirements such as venting is complied with.
: I would like to know if it is possible to mount a wall hung toilet in a basement bathroom? What is the best and cheapest toilet locally available (Home Depot, Menards, etc.) and what is the best way to construct the wall it hangs on. Also what are the code requirements for wall hung toilets. And any other info that would help. THANKS
