If you have youngsters, they may bang the tank around..we placed a piece of 2-by wrapped in insulation 1/2 way down the tank to absorb the shock of a hit n' run..lol : I have a 12" rough-in toilet installed on a 14" rough-in. Naturally, there is a 2" gap between the tank and the wall. Is this a problem? Does it violate the plumbing code? If yes, is there an easy fix? Many thanks for your advise!
