|In response to Re: refurbishing 3.5 GPF toilets|
: I have a couple of 16 year old 3.5 GPF toilets (basic 2 piece Briggs) which do not work well. My dilemma is whether to replace them with new ones, which will be 1.6 GPF and may turn out to have worse performance, or to invest into replacing all the internals of the old ones (the ceramics seems to have no cracks or chips). I have no problem with the way the old ones look. My main concern is reliability and performance. Many thanks for your advice.
A good 1.6 will be far better than what you have.
