Ive hear that if one has low water pressure its better to run smaller pipe (say as against or 1) to maintain highest possible water pressure. Im running pvc for my sprinkling system and had thought that a larger pipe would allow greater flow to the sprinkler heads. The sprinklers themselves would provide the pressure by narrowing the stream of water as it sprays out. So is it best to run smaller pipe in a low-pressure situation or does it really matter so long as at the pipes termination it narrows down? Thanks, jim |
