: We have just had our new house completed, and have a nice porcelan 4 hole sink with nice fixtures. The problem is, that the code required airgap/ overflow protector uses one of these holes that we would like to install an instant hot water dispenser into. What can we do to remove this air gap, without causing a potential risk? The problem with replacement is that the fixture is brand new and was $250! We really like the fixture, but we don't want to cause any saftey problems!
